Parents, let us normalize these:

Do not compare the outcomes of your children as though they are the same story written with the same ink. Sometimes we pour the same love, the same sacrifices, the same prayers, and the same efforts into our children, yet their journeys unfold differently.

Let us also stop taking the scorecard of one child as a complete reflection of our parenting and assume it defines every other child we raise. The truth is, our children are not raised by the same parents.

Not because we love one more than another, but because we are not the same person at every stage of our lives.The parent who raised the first child may have been younger, learning, struggling, discovering, or even making mistakes that the parent of the next child has grown beyond.

Every child meets a different version of us. They arrive in different seasons.They experience different environments.They carry different personalities, strengths, struggles and destinies.

Parenting is not a factory where the same process produces identical results. It is a garden. The same gardener can plant different seeds in the same soil, give them the same care and still watch each one grow differently.

Our responsibility is not to force every child to become the same tree. It is to understand what kind of tree each child is becoming and provide the support they need to flourish.
