🚨🔵 DONE DEAL: MAXENCE LACROIX SET TO JOIN CHELSEA!

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for the signing of French defender Maxence Lacroix, with all parties now in agreement.

The Blues will pay £52 million for the highly-rated centre-back after their official bid was accepted. Lacroix is currently undergoing his medical in London ahead of the announcement.

The 26-year-old is expected to sign a long-term contract until June 2032, becoming another key addition to Chelsea’s defensive options as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new season.

Contrary to earlier speculation, Axel Disasi is not part of the deal, with the transfer being a straight cash agreement.

An official announcement from Chelsea is expected once the remaining formalities are completed.
