Eternal Life
The earth is the throne of the thief,
Who tries to kill and destroy humanity.
To make God's children –
Wallow and wander in darkness.

Death is inevitable.
But life after death –
Decides our journey.

But there is a king,
Who can give life after death,
And calm the storms.

When death is unexpected,
The whys hang in the air like choking smog,
With men who come to mock.

When all is said and done,
And all hope
Slips away and is gone.

When we weep and wail,
We have someone who cares
About our anguish and tears.

Fleeting power, prestige
And pleasures of life will end, then –
What will you earn?

Now cling unto the Saviour,
For eternal life which is given
To those who receive His Son.
Since He lives, we will live also.
