Official: FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of forward Karim Adeyemi, who has signed a contract with the Catalans until 2031.

Born in Munich on 18 January 2002 to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother, Adeyemi brings an exciting and versatile attacking profile to the Barça squad. Throughout his career, he has shown his ability to play on either wing as well as through the middle as a centre-forward, combining blistering pace with a powerful left foot.

Barcelona reached an agreement to sign Adeyemi in a deal worth €29 million. The package includes a fixed fee of €22 million, with a further €7 million in performance-related add-ons.

Borussia Dortmund will also retain a sell-on clause, meaning they will receive a percentage of any future transfer fee if Barcelona decide to sell the forward.

The move brings an end to Adeyemi's successful spell in Germany as he prepares to begin a new chapter in Spain.
