They say be careful what you pray for. I can confidently testify.

Before NYSC, I prayed seriously, "God, let my Place of Primary Assignment retain me after service.

God said, No problem
Then I got to my PPA and discovered the place looked more like a poultry than where I imagined I would build my career.

Immediately, my prayer changed from "Lord, let them retain me" to "Lord, just let me finish this service successfully."
The pictures say the rest. My PPA, my classroom, and my co teacher are all evidence that expectation and reality can be very good friends, just not on the same day.
Looking back now, I can only laugh. Those moments became part of the beautiful memories that made the NYSC journey unforgettable.
