IT’S OFFICIAL: Dangote refinery completes private placement, raises $2.5bn

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals (DPRP) says it has raised about $2.5 billion through the issuance and allotment of new equity via private placement.

In a statement on Thursday, the refinery said it successfully concluded the landmark private placement, with subscriptions reaching 3.7 times the initial offer size.
