Dear Lekeleke Platform and ARISE News,
Greetings from United Returnees, a platform representing Nigerians who have voluntarily returned home from South Africa with the hope of rebuilding their lives and contributing meaningfully to our nation.
We respectfully appeal for your support in amplifying our voice and bringing national attention to our mission. We are law-abiding Nigerians who returned home with hope, resilience, and a strong desire to be successfully reintegrated into Nigerian society.
We remain sincerely grateful to the Federal Government of Nigeria, Air Peace, MTN, and every stakeholder who made our safe return possible. However, many returnees are still seeking sustainable reintegration through employment opportunities, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship support, and other empowerment programmes that will enable us to rebuild our lives and contribute positively to Nigeria’s development.
We also respectfully wish to bring to public attention that some of our verified members are yet to receive support and benefits that were announced or promised to them, including the support package from MTN, the Imo State Government, the Edo State Government, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s compensation and support initiatives. We humbly appeal to the relevant authorities to review these outstanding cases so that all eligible beneficiaries can receive the assistance intended for them.
Your platforms have become trusted voices for stories that matter. We believe that by sharing our story, you can help raise awareness, encourage meaningful public and private sector partnerships, and inspire support for hundreds of Nigerians eager to become productive members of society once again.
We humbly request the opportunity for our platform and our mission to be featured on your platforms. With your support, our advocacy can reach millions of Nigerians and give hope not only to those who have already returned but also to many others abroad who may one day choose to come home.
For further correspondence, please contact us at unitedreturnees@gmail.com or 09039868336.
Together, we can show that reintegration is not just about returning home—it is about restoring dignity, creating opportunities, and building a stronger Nigeria.
Thank you for your continued commitment to giving a voice to the people and championing issues of national importance.
