๐Ÿฅ Borno cholera outbreak: 35,500 ill, 198 dead

MSF (Doctors Without Borders) has raised the alarm over a worsening cholera outbreak in Borno State, northeastern Nigeria.

The crisis has seen at least 35,500 people fall ill and 198 deaths recorded, according to the medical humanitarian organisation.

Borno State has long faced compounding health and humanitarian challenges linked to years of insurgency-driven displacement, which strains water, sanitation and healthcare infrastructure across the region.
