Not everyone you think is a friend is truly your friend.
I remember a friend also my cousin I once confided in while I was seeking admission. I told him I had saved some money to buy a sewing machine that I could use in school once I gained admission.
Three days later, he came to me and asked to borrow the money. He said he had a business opportunity and promised to return it within a week at the latest. Innocent me, I gave him the money.
Later, I discovered he had used my money to buy a rug, a TV, and a VHS player to furnish his room. Till today, he has never paid me back.
What made it even more painful was that his father was responsible for all his educational expenses, while I was hustling on my own and saving every naira for my future.
That's how cruel some people you call friends can be.

Most times private not what you think they are
Just exercise caution next time
Maybe you just assumed to have sown that to his life, sure he won't have the opportunity to come back for such privilege
He is an opportunist who took advantage of you.
