@Ojyokpe DSS arraigning three men over the Oyo school kidnappings is a necessary step, but it doesn’t yet equal justice or safety. It shows the state can move when pushed, but also exposes how deep terrorism, kidnapping, and criminal economies (like illegal mining) have already penetrated Nigeria.

Seeing DSS bring these suspects to court is a relief, but it’s also a reminder of how fragile our security really is. Until Nigeria can prevent school kidnappings, dismantle the funding networks behind them, and make education feel safe again, every arraignment will look like we’re treating symptoms while the disease is still spreading.
