Eze Egi III Calls for Peace, Unity and Collaboration Ahead of 2026 Egwu-Ogba Festival

The Paramount Ruler of Egi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Eze Victor Egbo Elenwa, JP, AP, Eze Egi III, has called on all sons and daughters of Egi Kingdom to embrace peace, unity, and collaboration as preparations begin for the 2026 Egwu-Ogba (Igba-Ogwe) Festival.

The royal father made the call during the historic Egwu-Ogba Proclamation Ceremony held at Anama-Orji Playground, Erema, where the Royal Umu-Akoku family formally proclaimed 15th August 2026 as the date for this year's celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Eze Egi III urged the people of Egi to set aside their differences and unite behind a common vision of preserving the kingdom's rich cultural heritage while promoting peace and sustainable development. He emphasized that Egwu-Ogba is more than a cultural festival; it is a sacred season of thanksgiving, reconciliation, renewal, and the celebration of the identity of the Egi people.

The monarch also encouraged Egi sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora to return and participate peacefully in the festivities, noting that the strength of the kingdom lies in the unity, mutual respect, and collective efforts of its people.

As Egi Kingdom prepares for one of its most cherished cultural celebrations, the royal message serves as a timely reminder that lasting progress can only be achieved when the people stand together in peace, uphold their traditions, and work collectively for the advancement of the kingdom.

Peace. Unity. Collaboration. Together, Egi Kingdom will continue to flourish. ๐Ÿช˜๐Ÿ‘‘
