*1st Corinthians 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.*
Paul was not giving an admonition. He was giving an instruction.
We give to meet the needs of the saints. When we give to the church, we meet the needs of the saints.
The needs of the local church are your responsibility.
We are not to give spontaneously to our local church, we are deliberately set something aside to meet the need of our local church.
Your giving must reflect your earnings. The more you prosper, the more you give.
We also give to our Pastors and leaders.
Galatians 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
It's your responsibility to give to your Pastor. The welfare of those who care for your spiritual well being is your duty.

1st Timothy 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Double honor is something substantial, which means whatever you give to honour others, you give double of that to your Pastor.
