The 2026 FIFA World Cup was the biggest tournament in history. 48 teams, 104 matches, 3 countries, 16 host cities, and days with up to 4 games at once. For a tv channel like Telemundo, that means over 700 hours of live programming.

It all starts at Telemundo Center, the nucleus of the network's entire operation. In the middle of the World Cup, Telemundo flew L.A. Times Studios's Faith Pinnow out to Miami to go behind the curtain and see how a broadcast of this size actually comes together.
