This is what I think....

"You took so long to reply that I forgot why I was interested."
Many people will say, "Men don't chase anymore." But I see something different.

This conversation highlights the importance of healthy communication and emotional boundaries. Delayed replies don't always mean disinterest—people genuinely get busy. At the same time, no one is obligated to wait indefinitely without communication.

From a mental health perspective, clear communication reduces anxiety, overthinking, and emotional stress. Instead of expecting someone to read our minds, a simple message like, "I've been busy, I'll get back to you," can prevent misunderstandings.

Likewise, knowing when to walk away from a one-sided effort is also a form of protecting your emotional well-being. Healthy relationships aren't built on endless chasing—they're built on mutual interest, respect, and consistent communication.

Do you think he gave up too soon, or was he simply protecting his peace?
