🛡 Gunmen kill vigilante commander, three women in Rivers

Unidentified gunmen have killed the Omoku Zonal Commander of the Organised Security Peace and Advisory Committee (OSPAC), Ozomela Stephen Nwaocha, along with three women in Omoku, headquarters of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State. Two other persons sustained gunshot wounds and are receiving hospital treatment.

The attack occurred along Oba Road in Omoku. Nwaocha, also known as "Boski," led the local OSPAC unit, a community security outfit. Security agencies had not issued an official statement as of press time, and the circumstances of the attack remained unclear.

The incident triggered widespread fear in the community, with residents staying indoors, streets emptying and businesses shutting down early amid concerns of further violence.
