Your Excellency Esteemed Foreign Minister Wadephul, we hope this message finds you well. Thank you for Germany's continued commitment to supporting Nigeria, especially in the areas of security, counter‑terrorism, and humanitarian reintegration. Your partnership is deeply appreciated by many Nigerians who have endured years of violence and displacement.

However, we respectfully ask that the recently announced 10 million euros in support not be routed through President Bola Ahmed Tinubu or Senator Remi Tinubu. Many Nigerians fear that funds delivered through the current administration may be diverted toward personal luxury purchases—such as vehicles, real estate, foreign travel, and other non‑security expenditures—rather than being used to address terrorism or support displaced communities.

To ensure transparency, accountability, and direct impact, we humbly request that Germany consider delivering this assistance directly to the Nigerian people. One possible mechanism could be direct disbursement to Nigerians through secure mobile phone alerts or verified digital channels. This approach would help ensure that the funds reach the 240 million Nigerians who need relief and support, rather than being vulnerable to misuse.

We express this concern with respect for Germany's longstanding friendship with Nigeria and with hope that your support will reach those who need it most.
