Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Your Excellency Governor Umar Namadi, Opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as a concerned Nigerian who is deeply troubled by the growing hardship, poverty, and insecurity affecting millions of citizens across our nation. Recent reports of senior officials absent from duty during an unannounced inspection in Dutse highlight a broader issue Nigerians are suffering while many in leadership continue to enjoy privileges that 240 million Nigerians cannot afford.

Today, over 240 million Nigerians struggle with the rising cost of fuel, rent, food, transportation, and basic necessities. Many families live in darkness due to unaffordable electricity. Yet government leaders continue to receive salaries, allowances, free housing, free electricity, and extensive security at public expense. This imbalance is widening the gap between leadership and the people.

We respectfully demand you to consider the following demands, which reflect the voices of millions of Nigerians:

Create meaningful jobs for all Nigerians, especially the youth, who are eager to work but lack opportunities.

Ensure no Nigerian is fired or punished for absence from work when the cost of transportation and fuel makes daily commuting impossible.

Provide free education up to the PhD level, free housing, and free healthcare to reduce the burden on struggling families.

Invest heavily in agriculture to make Nigeria food‑sufficient and reduce hunger nationwide.

Build new hospitals, schools, and housing estates instead of allowing public funds to be used for luxury homes, cars, and private jets.

Recover and rescue all kidnapped children and citizens who have been missing since 1999.

Address corruption decisively and transparently, ensuring that public funds are used for public good.

Consider stepping aside if leadership is no longer aligned with the needs and suffering of 240 million Nigerians, just as leaders in other nations have done when faced with crises.

Nigeria is rich in oil, gas, and human talent. The question many Nigerians ask is where is the money? Why are Nigerians suffering despite our abundant national resources? How can240 million Nigerians go to work when fuel prices are unbearable? How can Nigerians families survive when food prices rise daily?

We demand to you to listen to the cries of Nigerians. Leadership is a responsibility, not a privilege. 240 million Nigerians deserve relief, fairness, and a government that prioritizes their well‑being.
