UBEC to Build Nearly 4,000 Classrooms, Boost Teacher Recruitment in Kano

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) is expanding access to basic education in Kano State with a plan to construct nearly 4,000 classrooms and support the recruitment of more teachers.

The commission said the intervention targets two of the biggest obstacles to quality education in the state: inadequate infrastructure and a shortage of qualified teachers.
