💥 Benue attacks kill nearly 60 as residents cry for help

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have carried out a wave of deadly attacks across communities in Benue State's southern Idoma-speaking zone, killing nearly 60 people and destroying property.

Residents say the violence has left them gripped by fear, with many describing a sense of abandonment by authorities. "We have been abandoned to our fate," locals said, recounting the latest wave of attacks.
