What’s really going on with our church music? 😭🤣
We love music, so we remix, flip and change every tune and lyrics every four Eke Market Days!
You enter a church, they start a familiar song… 5 seconds later, different melody, new pitch. You’re just waiting for them to return to the original 😂
I love variety, but too many remixes, ad-libs and changes! Can we sometimes sing songs the way the artists delivered them?
Just visited one church — the packaging from the gate was fire! Excellent choir, loud energy, vibrant youths, sharp uniforms and serious dancing.
But the constant twisting of old songs is confusing me. Those classics have been fully baptized!
Help me Biko. 😂
