IN CHILDREN OF SANGO: EARTH SCAVENGERS
Some characters are invented.
Others are born from history.
Chinua is one of them.
In my world, he is the warrior who never loses.
One eye. Countless scars. Undefeated for two years.
They call him Akin Ìkú—the Warrior of Death.
He does not fight for glory.
He does not fight for wealth.
He fights because justice was stolen from him.
His mother stood in the streets of Olulu demanding justice. She carried no weapon—only conviction. She was silenced by the very system meant to protect her.
That single moment forged the man Chinua would become.
When people ask why he enters the arena, he gives no long speeches.
But beneath every victory is one answer:
He fights for the silenced.
For those whose voices were taken before they could be heard.
He wins without celebration.
He leaves without applause.
Because victory is never the destination.
Remembrance is.
A TRIBUTE TO CHINUA ACHEBE
The father of modern African literature.
The author of Things Fall Apart, a novel that transformed how Africa tells its own story.
Before Achebe, Africa was too often described by outsiders.
He reminded the world that Africans would tell their own history—with dignity, complexity, and truth.
His work inspired generations to reclaim their voices and preserve their heritage.
That legacy continues.
IN CHILDREN OF SANGO
Chinua fights for the silenced.
In life, Chinua Achebe wrote for the silenced.
One carried a blade.
The other carried a pen.
Both refused to let the world forget who we are.
Both honored those whose stories deserved to be remembered.
This is not the story of Chinua Achebe.
This is KANRAN—an original Afrofuturist world inspired by the giants who shaped African storytelling.
Every character carries the echo of someone whose legacy changed our continent.
Chinua carries the spirit of the man who reminded Africa that our stories belong to us.
CHILDREN OF SANGO: EARTH SCAVENGERS
A boy.
A thunderstone.
A dying world.
A warrior who fights for those who can no longer speak.
