The federal government, however, does, and I call on them to join the ICC and execute this warrant.”

Suraj Olasunkanmi Tairu: He doesn't. How could the head of a city issue arrest warrant for an international figure, without approval of the president or international organisation. Mamdani is not even the governor of New York. He would be acting outside his jurisdiction entirely.
