The Super Falcons, Nigeria's women's national football team, are a 10-time Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) champion. The team is currently in Morocco for the 2026 WAFCON, where they are grouped with Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt, and are preparing to defend their title under head coach Justine Madugu. The 25-player squad features star players including captain and Al Hilal forward Asisat Oshoala, Paris Saint-Germain's Rasheedat Ajibade, and Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie. The tournament runs from July 25 to August 16, with Nigeria opening their campaign against Malawi on July 28. The super falcons are ready to claim another WAFCON crown, added to Champions (1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2024 wins.
