THE REIGN OF WICKEDNESS :
The Case with Nigeria

As long as a people embrace and celebrate VILENESS, their society will become overrun and overwhelmed by WICKED regimes and culture.

" The wicked prowl on every side, WHEN VILENESS IS EXALTED among the sons of men."
Psalms 12:8 NKJV

VILENESS refers to loose morality, prodigality, profligacy, worthless values, etc. A society that is accommodating and embracing such lying vanities, submits itself to the reign of terror.

Nigeria is a country where,over time, institutions and bodies (such as religious, governmental and sociocultural organizations) seem to have lost their moral fibre and abdicated their primary responsibilities. Showcased instead in these places, are vile cultures as doctrines.

So wicked men have emerged everywhere and are holding the nation captive. A culture of manipulation, violence, robbery, and other infernal acts, is becoming the national identity.

Religious leaders exploit their people and manipulate them into becoming hateful and selfish.

Public officials see the looting of the public till as a cardinal requirement of their calling and commission.

The average citizen has become desensitized (he is becoming what the Bible calls "past feeling") so that cheating a fellow citizen and witnessing the shedding of the blood of a fellow citizen, is nothing. "Nutting de hapun. "

The WICKED (in plural) are ruling our land because for a while, we embraced and exalted vileness as a national culture.

As long as we keep doing this, praying for a change will not bring the change. We must begin to shun vileness, embrace and preach nobility, starting from the Church. For our prayers for change in our land to work.

The Church in this land must stop observing lying vanities and start to really preach the Gospel of Christ. We owe our land that. Some of our Preachers "dey fall my hand" with their unrelenting and unbridled commitment to vanity.

The Church is the light of this land. It should arise and begin to shine indeed by putting off from itself the cloak of vileness.
