Luka Modric has signed a one-year contract extension at AC Milan, according to Sky in Italy.

Modric, who will turn 41 in September, moved to the Italian club last summer after leaving Real Madrid.

He initially signed a one-year deal and featured 35 times in all competitions.

According to Sky in Italy, the Croatian international has signed a one-year extension.
