Clubs earn this through FIFA’s Club Benefits Programme.

For every player released to the World Cup, FIFA pays clubs a daily rate from 2 weeks before the tournament until they’re eliminated.

The more players you have, and the further their countries go, the more “player-days” you get.
So Man City, Barcelona, Bayern top the list because they supplied many internationals who played deep into the tournament.
