MY HUSBAND OF JUST ONE MONTH SLAPPED ME FOR CHECKING HIS PHONE AND DISCOVERING THAT MY CHIEF BRIDESMAID IS PREGNANT FOR HIM

My wedding was last month.

Recently, I discovered that my husband has not been himself, he started behaving strange and I was so worried about what could be the challenge.

On Wednesday when he came back from work he was in his car answering calls and I overheard him said you know I am married.
Last night a particular number called severally though the phone was on silence, i copied the number using my Truecaller to check who, behold it was my chief bridesmaid. I became more curious to know what is going on, I opened his phone to check their conversations and I noticed that they have been having an affair and the lady is pregnant for him.

I couldn't hold it so I woke him up and asked what is going on with my chief bridesmaid and he slapped me asking me why I touch his phone. He started calling me names that i lied to him of not speaking with my ex anymore.
Ma, the story is that before I met him, I was dating this Igbo guy who obviously supported our wedding and as well donated a car to me on my wedding day but my husband said I should sale the car which I happily did. I was with my chief bridesmaid when I called my ex explaining to him my husband's decision and he was ok with that and that was the last time we spoke. The car is in a car stand awaiting to be sold now.

What have I really done wrong telling my husband everything about my past or checking his phone. I have been crying throughout which I called his mother and she said I shouldn't have touched his phone that it is normal for a man to cheat. What?

She needs advice.

Obafemi EMILOLA, FIMC, CMC®: She started it from the beginning, she should try and resolve it amicably
CSO intl: How you go dey check man phone if dey never pkai one person others no go learn
POULTRY AND FISHERY: Well all I can see here is a friend's betrayal and a foolish husband.
The husbands excuse for cheating is not justifiable at all.
Let her sell the car and lock up the money. Incase of anything.
David Onyedikachi: I don't know the kind of relationships we are having nowadays that partners can't look into each others phone.
If you are not tired of playing around then don't settle down. Period.
Mild Uchenna: The problem isn't that she checked the phone; it's the betrayal, the violence, and the attempt to shift the blame. Trust is earned through honesty, not secrecy. Cheating is never normal, and neither is slapping your spouse. She deserves truth, respect, and support while deciding her next steps.
