Nigeria isn't broke. Nigeria is bled.

Every year, we build new agencies to fight corruption. And every year, corruption builds new agencies to fight us.

It's not a bug in the system. It IS the system.

We've arrested the thieves. We've jailed the thieves. We've even praised the thieves. Yet the pipeline keeps flowing. Why? Because you can't disinfect a wound by cutting off the finger you have to clean the blood.

Corruption in Nigeria isn't just about stolen money. It's the "anything for you, boss" culture. It's the "who you know" that beats "what you know." It's the pastor praying for a contract. The voter selling their future for ₦1,000 and a loaf of bread.

We keep treating corruption like a crime problem. It's not. It's a values problem dressed in a suit.

So here's the hard truth: You cannot legislate integrity.

No EFCC raid, no ICPC probe, no presidential speech will fix what we celebrate at weddings, reward in churches, and teach our children at home.

The real anti-corruption war doesn't start in Abuja. It starts in your WhatsApp group. It starts when you refuse to "sort" the police officer. When you hire on merit, not tribe. When you stop clapping for the "big man" whose only hustle is government connection.

Prosecution catches the thief. Culture catches the next thousand.

Nigeria doesn't need more jails. It needs more citizens who are allergic to cutting corners.

The revolution isn't a protest. It's a million tiny decisions, every single day, to do the right thing when nobody is watching.
