The rate of accidents on the Nigerian roads can be minimized which is often caused by overspeed amongst others.
The road safety is busy seeking for papers and license, and this is necessary. But how about controlling speed, especially the dispatch riders that feel there is a second life on the road.
Speed enforcement techniques should be considered.

Firstly, physical policing, either with roadside checks or with
police patrol cars.

Secondly, either visible or hidden automated speed cameras should be considered on our roads.

Lastly, average speed control, with automated systems measuring the average speed of a vehicle over a road section will help minimize the joy of over-speeding.
