Salvation is God’s eternal gift, secured completely by Christ’s finished work not by human effort giving every believer permanent security and eternal life in Him. Just as a child does not cease to be the child of their father every time they disobey, a believer does not cease to be God’s child because of failure. Disobedience may affect fellowship, discipline, and the enjoyment of the relationship, but it does not change the reality of sonship. Salvation is founded on the new birth, not on flawless performance.
