One downside of getting close to people is this:

You admire someone from afar and they seem almost perfect. Then you get close to them—or even live with them—and you begin to notice their flaws. The way they think, act, or speak suddenly becomes more obvious. Before you know it, the respect or admiration you once had starts to fade.

We call it “see finish,” and if we’re being honest, it affects almost every kind of relationship—friendships, dating relationships, marriages, even family.
