It is incredibly easy to absorb the mindset of the five people we spend the most time with. To keep our perspective sharp and protect our ambitions, we have to be intentional about our inner circle. Surrounding ourself with those who lack purpose or ambition drains our energy. Over time, their lack of focus normalizes mediocrity, pulling our attention away from our own goals and core values. Too much association with visionless people will blur our vision until we finally lose sight of our true identity.
