*Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.*
God commended his love towards us, while we were yet sinners. 
He loved us while we were still in our sins.
We had nothing to offer him, we were his enemies when he gave us his love.
Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
He spared not his own son but delivered him up for us all. God freely gives
Just like God we are to give.
When we give, we give to meet the needs of others, we do not give with our needs in mind but the needs of others.
1st John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 
Vs 17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
The love of God in a man makes him give to others 
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Our faith is seen by our works. When we give to meet the needs of others, we are showing our faith in God.
