BREAKING: FIFA are seriously considering expanding the Club World Cup from 32 to 48 teams.

The belief is that including more European clubs would significantly increase the tournament's commercial value, making TV rights and sponsorship deals even more lucrative.

Notably, Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool were among the elite clubs that opted not to take part in the 2025 edition.
