๐ Allbridge Pauses Bridge After $1.65M Flash Loan Attack
Allbridge has suspended its Core protocol after an attacker drained approximately $1.65 million from its Solana stablecoin pools on July 20.
The attacker used a $1.12 million flash loan from Kamino to manipulate Allbridge's Solana pool pricing, then bridged the stolen funds to Ethereum. Security firms flagged the exploit, which marks the second time Allbridge has been hit by a flash loan attack of this nature.
Flash loan exploits โ where borrowed funds are used and repaid within a single transaction to manipulate protocol logic โ remain one of DeFi's most persistent attack vectors.
