INCREDIBLE BUT REAL STORY
In June 1998 Bill Morgan, an Australian truck driver had a serious road crash. At the ER medics administered a drug on him that inadvertently caused his heart to stop beating for 14 minutes: he was literally dead.
Though they were able to resuscitate him he slipped into coma for days. Doctors fearing massive irreversible brain damage sought his family's consent to disconnect him from life support. But on the 15th day he miraculous woke up, with no brain damage!
To celebrate his recovery Bill proposed to his girlfriend. And went on to buy a scratch-off lottery ticket which luckily won him a brand new car worth about $25,000.
On hearing of the incredible recovery from death and lottery win a local Melbourne TV station, NineNews, made contact and prompted Bill to reenact another lottery win, this time on air. Of course Bill accepted the offer and while the cameras were rolling, scratched another lottery ticket which won him $250,000. On live camera!
Life is a mystery.
