Money! Money!! money!!! money!!!! Mooney!!!!! Let's be honest, how many people in our present world will choose religion over a lot of money? Money is necessity in our present life, but is religion necessary? They say, "money can do" How about religion, can it do? There is a significant difference between Faith and Religion. To me, your faith is your belief, embedded in traditions and culture. Your religion is what you realign that faith with. We can have intelligently constructive debate on the issue. Jesus (pbuh) preached "The Kingdom of God". Money wasn't in Jesus' synthesis in a positive effect. Muhammed (pbuh), said, "poverty is my pride" None of these two prophets of The Most High cherished material wealth, yet they still wield tremendous influence in the world till present time. Are the present day pastors, ministers, imams etc., true followers of Jesus and Muhammed? Or are they in religion for material things (money, fame, power, etc)? You be the judge, but remember what Jesus(pbuh) said about the rich Jewish lad who taught he's fulfilled the commandments. And also remember what Muhammed (pbuh) said, that, "until you want for your brother (and sister), what you want for yourself......." Be very honest in making this judgement, having in mind that you'll be standing alone in front of The Most High on The Day of Judgment. Cheers folks.
