FOCUS
After a long walk,
Wandering in darkness,
I needed to take a break –
Before moving again.

I wanted to go beyond the skies,
Yet I didn't even take a step.
Each day lying on the bed –
Waiting for a miracle.

I thought I could play a fast one on nature.
How can you cheat nature?
Running with your head backwards –
Looking at the distractions waving at you.

Failing is the outcome,
As you dance to their tune.
Falling short, while others –
Are running and moving ahead.

Look ahead, beyond the finish line.
Keep your head and chin high.
Above all distractions.
Overcome the hurdles.

Falling is not a mistake,
But not rising after a fall,
Makes you a failure.

Falling behind the finish line –
Makes you a loser.
Strive and aim for the best.

So move steadily and quickly,
Because time doesn't pause.
Run the race of your life without wavering –
Through the storms and sunshine.

"Having dreams doesn't make one successful. It is only a fuel to make you a better person. So dream and work towards achieving them".
