ECOWAS Summit Seals Deal on Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline

West African leaders have signed an agreement approving construction of the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline, a project set to span roughly 6,000 kilometres and cross 13 countries along Africa's Atlantic coast.

The deal was struck on Sunday at an ECOWAS summit held in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
