🚨 : Maybe it’s time Manchester United seriously consider cashing in on Lisandro Martínez.

Before you attack me… hear me out.

Nobody questions his passion, leadership, or quality when he’s fit. But that’s the problem… WHEN he’s fit.

It feels like every season United lose him for months through injury, yet he always seems to recover in time to represent Argentina. Now, during the World Cup final, he’s reportedly picked up another injury that could keep him out for another 2–3 months if the early fears prove true.

If that happens, United will once again be left without one of their key defenders.

At some point, the club has to ask the difficult question:

Is it worth building your defence around a player who struggles to stay available?

The best ability in football is availability. No matter how talented you are, you can’t help the team from the treatment room.

United need defenders they can rely on for 50+ games every season—not just flashes between injury setbacks.
