Lack Of Support Continues To Hold Back Nigerians With Disabilities

An estimated 35 million Nigerians are living with disabilities. One of their biggest challenges is exclusion from education and the workforce, with many children lacking adequate classroom support. For people with hearing impairments, the high cost of hearing aids, which are largely not subsidised, remains a major barrier.
