Many sickle cell warriors are living with chronic leg ulcers,
Which could be unilateral or bilateral.
The pattern of the symptoms is the same,
Irrespective of the country or continent where the sickle cell warrior resides.
We know that it can recur.
We know that it is very painful - neuropathic pain.
We know that it has a long duration.
We know that it can affect our mental health.
Yet, there are still some things we do not know about it.
They may be few or many.
Some or many health workers don't know about chronic leg ulcers caused by sickle cell disorder.
Some health workers do not even know that sickle cell disorder can cause chronic leg ulcers.
May God grant us the help needed to treat chronic leg ulcers and eradicate sickle cell disorder, globally,
In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
