Imagine a 19-year-old girl. She's broke. She's hungry. Someone tells her she can make "easy money" ₦60,000 by donating something her body wastes every month anyway.
She walks into a clinic. She gets hormone shots that bloat her ovaries. She goes under anesthesia. They puncture her vaginal wall with a needle and suck out her eggs.
She does it again next month. And the month after.
By the time she's 22, her ovaries are scarred. Her fertility is compromised. And the clinic? They've moved on to the next girl.

The WHO bans selling eggs. Medical guidelines cap retrieval at twice yearly. But when regulators are silent, ethics become optional and young bodies become inventory.
