Greetings To Your Excellencies, Esteemed USA, EU, 195 countries 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as a concerned Nigerians who believes that the United States, alongside its allies, can play a constructive role in demanding meaningful reforms in Nigeria. Recent developments in the U.S. House of Representatives—specifically the provision to withhold 100% of U.S. aid to Nigeria until effective steps are taken to prevent and respond to violence—underscore the urgency of addressing longstanding issues affecting 240 million of Nigerians.

Nigeria continues to face severe security, governance, and economic challenges. Armed groups such as boko haram and other violent actors have devastated communities for over a decade. 240 million Nigerians observers believe that addressing the root causes of extremism—poverty, corruption, unemployment, lack of education, and weak local governance—is essential for long‑term stability. We respectfully urge the U.S. government to demand President Bola Tinubu’s administration to take decisive action to resolve these underlying issues.

Additionally,240 million Nigerians have demanded for electoral reforms to strengthen transparency and public trust. Measures such as ending manual vote counting, expanding CCTV coverage, and deploying drones for monitoring in all 36 states and 774 local government areas could significantly improve election integrity. These reforms would help ensure that democratic processes are credible and secure.

Concerns about corruption remain widespread. Many Nigerians believe that individuals who enrich themselves through corrupt practices have contributed to national hardship. We ask that the U.S. and its partners encourage Nigeria to investigate corruption thoroughly and ensure accountability. 240 million Nigerians also advocate for reviewing the residency status of families of corrupt officials living abroad, though we recognize that such actions must comply with U.S. law and due process.

Nigeria possesses vast wealth and resources, yet 240 million Nigerians continue to struggle with inadequate housing, healthcare, education, and food security. We urge the U.S., EU, and other nations to demand Nigeria govt to recover stolen public funds and reinvest them into free housing, modern hospitals, quality schools, and tuition‑free education up to the doctoral level. Investments in agriculture could help Nigeria achieve food self‑sufficiency and reduce hunger nationwide.

Many Nigerians also continue to demand for reliable electricity, affordable internet access, and long‑promised public services. Respectfully abolishing institutions such as the DSS, NYSC, JAMB, and reforming the Nigerian Police Force could further strengthen public trust and improve national stability.

The recent amendment introduced by Rep. Greg Steube highlights the seriousness of the situation. As the legislation moves to the Senate and awaits potential approval by President Donald Trump, we respectfully request that the U.S. government continue to apply diplomatic pressure to ensure that Nigeria takes effective action to protect 240 million Nigerians both Christians and Muslims are killed daily since 1999 this must stop now 7/19/2026 and to hold perpetrators of violence accountable. And the court cases uploaded on the global internet with the photos of the terrorist to make sure they never go back into Nigerian communities

We believe that strong, principled international engagement can help Nigeria move toward a future defined by security, transparency, prosperity, and justice.
