BE THE GOOD WHEAT: GROW IN GOD'S MERCY UNTIL THE HARVEST

Let us prayerfully reflect on today's Catholic Sunday Readings from Wisdom 12:13, 16-19; Psalm 86; Romans 8:26-27; and Matthew 13:24-43, allowing God's Word to strengthen our faith and guide our lives.

God reveals Himself as both just and merciful. In Wisdom 12:13, 16-19, His power is shown through patience, mercy, and the gift of repentance, teaching us that true righteousness is expressed through kindness.

The Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 86) reminds us that the Lord is "good and forgiving." His mercy is open to all who seek Him, inviting everyone to trust in His compassion and unfailing love.

In Romans 8:26-27, St. Paul assures us that the Holy Spirit strengthens us in our weakness, praying for us according to God's will when we cannot find the right words.

In Matthew 13:24-43, Jesus teaches that good and evil will exist together until the final judgment. God patiently gives sinners time to repent, and at the end, the righteous will shine forever in His Kingdom.

The Kingdom of God is also like a mustard seed and leaven, small beginnings that produce great results. Every prayer, act of faith, and work of charity helps God's Kingdom grow.

Today's readings remind us to be patient and allow God's grace to transform our hearts instead of judging others. God desires repentance and conversion for all.

Remain faithful, trust God's timing, and never underestimate the power of small acts of goodness.

Those who persevere in holiness will rejoice forever in God's eternal Kingdom.

May we remain faithful, bear the fruits of holiness, and be counted among the righteous when Christ comes in glory. Amen.
