A question for parents and young people.

This morning I couldn't sleep, so I went to see someone I love because I realized how much fear can make people suffer in silence.

It made me wonder: Why are so many young people more afraid of telling their parents about a serious mistake than facing the problem itself?

If a child believes, "My parents will kill me if I tell them," doesn't that show there is a communication gap that needs to be healed?

Parents should correct their children, but they should also create an environment where their children can speak the truth without feeling that their lives are over. Fear often leads to hiding problems, making dangerous decisions, or carrying emotional burdens alone.

What do you think? How can parents build trust so their children will always come to them first, even after making a serious mistake?
