The Three Lions secured their Bronze medal in an EPIC match, achieving their best-ever World Cup finish on foreign soil and their best since 1966 🦁🦁🦁.

The third-place play-off between France 🇫🇷 and England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 was the first World Cup match to see both teams score 4+ goals in 64 years, since a 4-4 between the Soviet Union and Colombia in 1962. It was also the highest-scoring game at the tournament since Hungary beat El Salvador 10-1 in 1982.

⚽⚽⚽ Bukayo Saka is now the second England player to score a HAT-TRICK in a FIFA World Cup knockout stage match after Sir Geoff Hurst in the 1966 final. Saka achieved three goals and three assists this World Cup, despite only starting three games. He was also the chosen "Man of the Match".
