🚨 CHELSEA CLOSE IN ON MORGAN ROGERS IN RECORD-BREAKING DEAL! 🔵

Chelsea have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Aston Villa to sign England forward Morgan Rogers in a deal worth £117 million.

If completed, the transfer would become the most expensive in British football history, surpassing the recent £116 million move involving Elliot Anderson.

The 24-year-old is expected to sign a six-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year. The final paperwork is now being completed, while his medical could take place as early as Monday.

Rogers is currently with the England squad ahead of their FIFA World Cup third-place playoff against France. Arsenal were also strongly interested in signing him this summer, but Chelsea now appear to have won the race.
