Last night, I couldn't sleep.
This morning, the first thing I did was speak to my landlord again about our transformer. I am pleading with everyone who has the power to help us.
There is an elderly woman living near me. Long before I moved here, I noticed she rarely cooked every day. She would prepare soup once, refrigerate it, and use it for several days because she had electricity.
Now, after months without power, I watch her every evening in this rainy season struggling to bend down and light firewood. At her age, that should not be her daily battle.
And she's not the only one. Many families, children, and small businesses are silently suffering because our community has been without electricity for months.
This is no longer just about a transformer. It's about people's dignity, health, and the kind of life they are forced to live.
Please, hear our cry. We need our electricity restored. Eight months is too long I record a video of me and her only her voice, but some people some pack out there business here.
