🚨 BREAKING: "I Will Resign as Minister If My Claims on Completed Roads Are False" — Wike Throws Down Challenge

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has vowed to resign from office if anyone can prove that his claims about completed road projects in Abuja are false.

Speaking during the inauguration of the reconstructed Arab/Gbazango Road in Kubwa, Wike defended the Tinubu administration's infrastructure record, insisting that the figures released by his ministry are accurate.

According to Wike:

"Prove we didn't award 317 kilometres of roads and complete 221 kilometres in the satellite towns of the FCT, and I will resign as Minister."

The FCT Minister said that since President Bola Tinubu assumed office in May 2023, 317 kilometres of roads have been awarded, while 221 kilometres have already been completed across satellite communities in Abuja.

Wike's bold declaration has generated widespread reactions online. While supporters say the statement reflects confidence in the administration's performance, critics continue to question the scope, quality, and impact of some of the projects.

The minister has repeatedly maintained that the ongoing road construction and completion of long-abandoned projects are evidence of the Federal Government's commitment to improving infrastructure in the FCT.
